For CA Nimsoft Monitor
Did you know that you can use can use NMS alarms to generate ServiceNow Incidents? You can! With the ServiceNow Gateway probe. This is how it works:
- The ServiceNow connection information is entered in the gateway probe GUI.
- The Nimsoft Alarm fields are mapped to the ServiceNow incident fields.
- When a new alarm is assigned to a user in Nimsoft Monitor, an Incident is created in ServiceNow.
- If changes are made to the alarm in Nimoft Monitor (for example, the alarm severity is changed), the incident is updated in ServiceNow.
