Support for SNMP AES-192 and AES-256 privacy protocols was added to v 1.4 of the SNMP Data monitoring (snmpcollector) probe.
The options for AES-192 and AES-256 will not be available unless you install the Unlimited Strength Java Cryptography Extension Policy Files. You must install additional policy files on robots running the snmpcollector probe if you intend to monitor devices configured to use AES-192 and AES-256 security protocols. This process is not needed for AES-128.
The jurisdiction policy files distributed with the JDK 6 software have built-in restrictions on cryptographic strength. To disable these restrictions, you must replace the existing policy files with the unlimited strength JCE policy files.
